AutoTithe

"AutoTithe" is an automated, recurring tithe service that allows you to give with ease.  Created for your convenience, it allows you to regularly support your spiritual family whether you are in town or not.  By choosing AutoTithe, you provide Unity of Greater Lansing with a predictable income stream which supports our various ministries, our administration and our blessing work in the community.  You also provide a critical income history that will help Unity, in the event that it ever needs to apply for a business loan or mortgage.

To enroll, contact our Business Manager or the church office.  You'll want to design your AutoTithe from the following choices:

• Your bank credit card can be debited bi-weekly (the 15th and the 30th) or monthly (the 15th) for any amount you specify.
• We accept Master Card and Visa credit cards and all debit cards.
• You decide the gift/tithe amount that is right for you.
• You may cancel or modify your AutoTithe at any time, by notification to our Business Manager, Anna Rolph.

Unity's Stewardship Policy

Our declared policies state that:

• Donors are advised and encouraged to seek independent professional advice before making a gif to the ministry which might significantly affect the donor's personal financial position of income or might adversely affect the donor's relationship with their family members.
• Donors are provided with comprehensive and current financial information at our Annual Meeting in February each year; or as they individually request.  Our accounting books are open to everyone--members and non-members!.
• Expenditures are confined to Board-approved programs and purchases contained within the annual, congregation-approved budget.  In accordance with IRS regulations, each gift/tithe will be used as designated by the donor with the understanding that when any given need has been met, designated gifts will be used where needed most.
• Gifts/tithes are acknowledged with a letter of gratitude and an official receipt for income tax purposes.
• Gifts/tithes will not be accepted for projects or purposes that are not within our stated vision and objectives as determined by the Board of Trustees.
