Dr. Rocco Errico Returns to Unity!
 |
Dr. Rocco A. Errico is an ordained minister, international lecturer, author and one of the nation's leading Biblical scholars working from the original Aramaic Peshitta texts. For ten years he studied intensively with Dr. George M. Lamsa, Th.D., (1890-1975), world-renowned Assyrian biblical scholar and translator of the Holy Bible from the Ancient Eastern Text. Dr. Errico is proficient in Aramaic and Hebrew exegesis. He's helped thousands of readers understand how the Semitic context of culture, language, idioms, |
symbolism, mystical style, psychology, and literary amplification are essential to understanding the ancient spiritual document of the Holy Bible. He will be speaking during the Sunday service at 11 a.m. about “The Kingdom of God.“
His afternoon seminar is entitled “The Gospel According to Jesus.” Jesus’ message and gospel was the kingdom of heaven. But what does this term "kingdom of heaven" mean? Is it a place one goes to after death? What is the biblical understanding of heaven. Was Jesus’ gospel about life hereafter? Or was it about something more? In our modern world, the gospel of Jesus has changed to the notion that his teachings are to prepare his followers for a heavenly life somewhere in the sky. How did this happen, and what was the authentic idea and goal that Jesus of Nazareth was bringing to the world? In this seminar, Dr. Errico explores the idea of heaven on earth and heaven after an earthly life based on the Aramaic teachings of Jesus.
The afternoon seminar will begin at 1:00 p.m. and is open to the public. There is no charge, however a love-offering will be taken. Dr. Errico’s latest books will be available for purchase and signing. Please plan to arrive early as seating will be at capacity! Visit Dr. Rocco Errico's website
